It’s a great time to have a great idea.
Here are a few recent ideas I’ve worked on with some really awesome people. Let’s get you on this list. Remember, ideas don’t mean diddlywink until you write them down. I can help you do that.
Paramore.is.
Simple, clear and focused on results.
Nashville’s premiere digital agency is one that understands the power of well-written ideas and sharing them in clear, non-jargon-y language. They recently did a full rebranding and a new website, while keeping their core value of being “Simple, clear and focused on results.” I did the lion’s share of the content, including the bios and case studies. This is a great example of design and creative content coming together to showcase both the company’s brains and its personality.
DA.IO.
The first real mobile app prototyper.
DA.IO is a new idea and company and recent “grad” of Jumpstart Foundry’s mentorship program. It’s based on a simple but powerful idea. What if you could could prototype a mobile app with a mobile app? DA.IO Sketch lets designers, UX/UI peeps, or anyone with an mobile app idea take a sketch from a cocktail napkin, whiteboard or notepad, shoot it, and instantly upload it to a mobile device as a tappable prototype. We had a great time crystallizing their idea for mentor presentations and the website, where you can download the app for Android tablets right now.
The Potluck Guide to Social Media Strategy
Helping Southern destination marketers get social.
This Guide was written to help destination marketers understand the basics of social media marketing without a lot of mind-numbing, paradigm-shifting, best-in-breed, core-competency-across-the-enterprise bullshit. It debuted at the Southeast Tourism Society’s annual Marketing College, and they are still being downloaded over at Paramore.is. Read more about the birth of the Guide and get one.
Emailography
The basics of email marketing, explained clearly.
Paramore’s followup to The Potluck Guide is a no-nonsense roadmap to the promised land of permission marketing. Think you know everything about email marketing? Good. Read this anyway, or leave one on you-know-who’s desk like a faerie angel.
